Morning all from a overcast Coventry, still the forecast is looking a lot better than yesterday which is something at least😀.
Which is good as we will be at the sailing club all day, racing in the morning and then training in the afternoon. We have had 8 new member in the last six months which is unheard for us ( young people as well, ok well under 30 years old 😀) .
And we are doing are best to support them though the first six months or so because we often have new members, but the problem has always been retention .
Anyway fingers crossed we miss the showers and stay dry and I hope everything has a good day .

Good day. It's raining. It has rained all night. It is forecast to rain till 3.00am tomorrow.

Hmmmm, what shall I do today? Something indoors? Good plan. It's going to be a household admin day. We need new Building and Contents for one thing and I'm sure there's other stuff I should be on with......

Did I mention it's raining, all night, all day and till 3 00am? Biblical.

Sorry to rub it in but it's dry and bright up here again  There is a rather cool wind though, but I found it perfect for my morning walk. 7 miles including a bit of a hill and never met anybody else. Just how I like it.

I see there's athletics on telly this afternoon so I might watch that rather than go back out when it's busier than I like.

I've loaded my bike in the car...........

Prophetic words Dave , sadly

So much division in the world. Sometimes on my early wanders I think about stuff. I'm walking along in a beautiful area, feeling totally safe and knowing that I will be returning to a comfortable home with food in the cupboards and fresh water from a tap and elsewhere there are millions living in tin shacks or tents, barely any food, probably walking miles for some stinking water and others who are wondering if a bomb is going to land on them any second. We really should be so grateful for what we've got shouldn't we.
