I can;t use a shopping list
Well - I do but it is more of a reminder of a couple of things
I basically wander up and down the aisles and hope the items will remind me of what we need

This also means I can spot the "bargains" and see if they are worth buying

My ex used to insist of me making a shopping list - then went mad when I forgot something because it was not on the list!
WHich is the problem - if I have a full list then that is what I will get - that and only that!
Get it so your list is more a "what must be got" than a full shopping list.
It'll leave you free to wander the aisles, with your list, trying to find things.

BBQ done - garlic and herb chicken kebabs, salad with tomatoes straight out of my greenhouse & baby sweetcorn. Washed down with a couple of cans of New England IPA 7.4%.
Sat out on the verandah until 7.45 watching the birdies feeding, listening to a Spotify 60s playlist and putting the world to rights.
A very enjoyable end to the day. :okay:

Good morning all.
It's dull and grey outside, and i can see drizzle on the windows.
There is a load of washing in the machine, the forecast is set to improve so it might dry.
An early dog walk will be followed by a bimble out on the bike for some essentials from the local butcher and grocers.
There is a meeting of the escape committee at the Railway Bell, one of the members goes back to Australia next Tuesday for 3 months. So a bon voyage to him.

Bonjour. One grandchild stayed with us last night and I was glad to see she played with her dolls most of the time. She is 8. Another one just arrived this morning and guess what? The first thing he said was : " Can I have your phone? " He is 9, so I guess he is going to play on it until the battery runs out. By the way, he is not using my phone but his nana's.
