Afte rth kids went yeserday I realised my legs were aching

I think it was the ride the day before - only normal distance - i.e. 20 miles plus a bit - but it was to Speke Hall (what can I say - they have a cafe!)
as a result there is a lot of road riding rather than canal paths
which meant I was mostly at or about the motor cut off speed on the ebike - and the motor power decreases as you reach the cutoff speed, especially in eco mode

hence I was probably putting in a lot more muscle effort

which showed in the power usage being less than normal

anyway still aching but I will try to go out again this afternoon as the next few days look dodgy!

more importantly - heard the letterbox go a few minutes ago - then saw a yooff walking across the grass toward next door (which is annoying, inwinter we sometimes end up with a trail of mud in front of the windows where they walk!)

Anyway - a question
It is hot out
why does someone walking around the area delivering leaflets from a pizza place need to be wearing a black and white camouflage hoodie with what looks like a balaclava (covering his mouth) under it in this heat?????

Pizza place is dodgy anyway - it has moved shop several times over the lact few years and never has especially good hygiene ratings! (just checked - currently rated 1!)

They don't want to be associated with the place, but don't mind getting the money for delivering the leaflets.

But your mid Wales, north to south at least!

I think, at least in North Wales, given a chance some of them would prefer a Southern Fried Coating to be made with real fried Southerners

based on living there for about 15 years and teaching there for over 10 years

p.s. corrected your spelling in the quote - hope I got it right

Don't wish to be a swot, but, should it be "you're" ?, or, have I misunderstood?

No! It should have been you're mid wales, not your mis Wales.

We had two grandchildren all day and it is hard work. I managed to get away for a 35 kms ride , including the Great Orme . One of them is going home shortly and the other having a sleep over. Even Molly finds it hard too. Looking after young kids is definitively for younger people.
