Take your current age, and add one.

That's how old you'll be next year.

I thought you were making that up BUT I just tried it and you are indeed correct.
You are not just a pretty face 🙂

Yup - that was me

I was the only person who could reliably find BBC2!

EDIT - for the younger people on there
BBC1 and ITV were on VHF - which was easy - well not easy as all we had was numbers on a dial - but you could work out the number you needed and it was tured to only certain positions ever 5-10 degrees round the dial via click
One of the numbers was a letter "U" for UHF
When it was on U the tuning used the UHF dial underneath which was a smooth sweep - and the best reception was not always in the same place

Easy really - or so I though at the time

Cheese and onion quiche for me. It was in the reduced section as it is to be used by today.

Quite a strong breeze picked up now so keeping the house a bit cooler.

RIght - I'm awake and I have repaired some cobble like bits of the patio that had come loose
idiots that did the patio didn;t to a very good job - the base layer for some of them hadn't been mixed properly and some of it was just pure sand - no wondervthey came loose
if my solution works then I can used it for the bigger slabs at the front that are much worse

now lunch - pork pie and tomato - maybe some beetroot from the jar - should get the fruit and veg portions up a bit!

welsh dragon

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

When you wake up in the morning you never quite know how the day will end :-

Today I thought I better try and start my car as I have not used it for four weeks, it started, but very rough so tried it again and it sounded if it was only firing on 3 cylinders and then smoke came out of the engine bay, I quicky switched off and opens the bonnet, there was light smoke, but not burning smoke and it was not exhaust fumes, so a quick walk to the garage.
The mechanic thinks an injectors is loose or broken, but as the car can't start I'll have to wait until I can get a tow or picked up as it is an automatic.
As I said I have not used it for four weeks and the last time I used it it was fine going like a good one so how did that happen.
