Your bamboo is doing well. I think it can be tricky to grow....at least it is up here. Maybe your climate is more conducive.

Bamboo needs care, it can be very invasive and can be a bugger to remove.

My yucca and palm trees are going well. Must be the climate.

It grows very well here but needs watching for, as you say, it can be invasive.

Back from the Hospital. Oncology outpatients is air conditioned, has a chilled water dispenser and lovely staff. Saw the locum instead of the Consultant, I could see he hadn't looked at my case notes before I entered the room as he was scanning the on screen notes to find my condition 🤔 Anyway, numbers were good and he did have a comprehensive poke around my spleen and lymph nodes. Onwards and upwards 👍

Morning. I tossed and turned most of the night too. So warm and humid.

I see we have another foggy start. It’s to be the hottest day of the week though then thankfully to start dropping over the coming days. I can hardly wait for Tuesday morning when it’s forecasting a morning temperature back in single figures.

I suspect this afternoon will be spent watching the Vuelta and doing my best to stay cool.

Off to Minehead to raid the shops and then have fish and chips on the seafront.
Got to pick up several bags of blue slate chippings on the way back, to finish off yesterday's garden job.

Morning all. After 4 sh*t days health wise I do believe there was an improvement during the night......I actually got out of bed with minimal effort AND for 1st time I think I could eat something.
