I went out to the Irish club last night.
2 solo support singers followed by the (excellent) group.
3 guitarists were all good, lead singer was outstanding.
There must be so much talent out there but they have to be right time, right place.

There certainly is. Someone on our local page put up a clip of some friends who were up visiting and did a session in one of the pubs in the next village. Folk stuff. I thought they were amazing.

Long lie for me as it’s raining. It’s due to go off back of 8 but not sure I want to go out anyway.

The Vuelta is a long lumpy stage today so I will probably watch some of that later. Then there’s Diamond League athletics in the evening. Shame I seem to prefer watching cycling and running these days to actually doing it

Morning all

Woke up to heavy rain which has now eased considerably.
I was thinking yesterday that my pond was looking like it needed topping up. Nature has saved me the trouble.
Off to look at a motorbike at 11am.

I have risen! 1st!

We're going to look at a house today, and while we're out there are two viewings on our place.

Moving house can be an emotional roller coaster.
Nothing ever goes smoothly, as I can attest from recent experience.

Bonjour. Off to Angel Bay shortly for Molly and then to Anglesey to give my grandson a driving lesson and then drop him off in Bangor at the rugby club as he has a game this afternoon.
We also have a viewing for the house at 2 pm.

I did. I struggled on my own to refit the shower screen, it's a 4panel glass job. Annoyingly the screen now has a tendency to swing away from the bath when open 🤔
