House we looked at today was gorgeous. @Tenkaykev its ona new development on the Newport Pagnell Road past Hardingstone, quite literally the last row of houses directly overlooking open countryside (and a balancing lake, so no one can build on the view.)

If we sell then I think that will be the one. One or the couples that have viewed our house want to buy it and will find out tomorrow if they can get the mortgage, so fingers 🤞

Sunday 24 September was World Sight Hounds Day.
146 Rescue Greys and two token Whippets turned out at Jells Park our local walk venue. The day was also a fundraiser for one of our local Greyhound rescue organizations and they were selling cup cakes for the dogs and brownies for the minders as well as the mandatory sausage sizzle with vegan sausages. Those vegans are completely tasteless but there were plenty of sauces available to pep them up.

I had an aunt who used to live in Emsworth, I visited her once, cycled over from Gosport where I was living at the time, would have been about 1971.

Phew. What is going on with this weather. I thought autumn had really arrived a few days ago when I got some nice cool, crisp mornings. Back to incredibly mild again this morning. My walk turned into a very slow stroll to avoid getting too hot.

It's going to be a sunny day today.
After all the usual things to do I am going to paint the frames around the back door and windows. It's about time they were done before winter turns up.
I might get a late ride in later on for an hour or so.
