Smart meter fitting sometime today, I've prepped the area as the Electricity meter is inside the house and the Gas supply in the usual outside box. I've also registered an interest with the new Fibre Broadband suppliers. It does look a good deal at £25 per month for an 18 month contract, then £29 per month. It's FTTP and the speed is quoted as 900/900 Mbps.

6 months in and they still haven't sorted out our IHDs. Last guy that turned up to sort them openly admitted that he didn't have a clue how to get them working. Official complaint lodged with Octopus last month and they now appear to be blanking us.

I'm starting to think the whole energy industry is a total shambles. I am struggling to get Ovo to understand my dispute properly. Emails and copies of old accounts still going back and forwards.

I had thought about going with Octopus when it's sorted out, but doesn't sound they have treated you any better.

Went to see A Haunting in Venice at the Flicks on Friday.

Absolute dross, highly predictable and terminably boring.

1/10 is generous.

However, Wilderness starring Jenna Coleman is v.good. On Amazon Prime.

Catastrophe, on Netflix is also very funny and rather good.

Spent a couple of hours removing a huge tangle of a bush in front of our utility window.
I've trimmed it a few times since we've been here but I just got fed up with it and decided to get ruthless when we got back from shopping.
Another trip to the tip tomorrow!
Looks neater now.

Still got the hydrangea to do when it dies back, but that can wait a while.
Think I'll paint the fence tomorrow.........

Good morning all
Sainsbury's are delivering another order today 0730-0830, seems I didn't order enough last week. Quite a few cleaning products in the order this week though.

Rain is on it's way later on, like most of the country.
I might have to set up the turbo in the shed and do an hour or so in there this afternoon.

Another tip run this morning to dump the remains of our bush out the front. Trailer and two dumpy bags full.
Weather's looking OK after about 10 o'clock so I'm taking MrsD pillion on the AJS to Stogumber Station tea room for lunch.
