I'm trying out an app called local weather on the phone.

Just sitting here thinking about tomatoes. The fresh ones have been so tasteless recently that I have a sudden notion to buy some tinned instead.

Most of the shop bought tomatoes come from Holland. They are all grown in huge greenhouses in a system called hydroponics. Basically they are grown in water with nutrients added so they never see soil at all.
They are pretty tasteless.

My washing has been in and out must be 4 times now and each time we get spits and spots of rain so I've given up.

Braised beef in gravy today with brocoli and cauliflower.

Lol….no, a vine. Dad used to grow them on and give me a couple in tubs and I just grew them at the side of the garage.

Tomatoes are not hard to grow. They really do taste much better than commercially grown ones.

I bought a new sander form Amazon yesterday. Its a bosch. We've been meaning to get a new one for ages. That will come I handy as i am about to re do the bathroom.

Washing machine, dishwasher , larder fridge, larder freezer, plus another larder fridge in the outhouse that's used for beer are all Bosch.

Afternoon tomato lovers Gardeners delight....oh my! delicious. Tesco's finest...bleughh they barely resemble what a tomato should be. I left a review on tesco's website describing them as vile.....
Had a breezy spin today and caught up and passed two ebikes...i joked as i passed and said "you'll pass me in a bit" then i couldnt help but try to stay ahead! Whether they were only tootling i dont know but i didnt see them again
Sent off for a new wheel as my rear wheels collapse could be imminent due to rim wear

I have just been talking to my brother in Orleans and wish him a happy birthday. He is 69 today. It is 27 degrees there and barely 20 here.
