Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
It's getting brighter here so I have put a load of washing in the machine. Now it's bound to rain as soon as I put it out to dry.

A chill day today. The only real plan is lunch at a Chinese restaurant....with neighbours and a friend.
Here's a (deep and meaningful) question for you.
When having a "Chinese" meal....do you have a 'go to' starter?
I always go for chicken soup. I always enjoy it BUT I always look with envy at everyone else's nice looking starters.

I am tempted to throw some dark washing in but it's only 3/4 load so logic tells me to wait a day or two.

I need a different weather app for my phone, currently on XC weather, it forecast no rain till this afternoon, half an hour after I put the washing out it was piddling down.

Morning. Hill walk done this morning. Very mild again but it's getting increasingly gloomy. I suspect the rain is maybe on the way.

The local BBC weather forecast was the same.Planed to mow the lawns before the forecast rain arrived..

Just sitting here thinking about tomatoes. The fresh ones have been so tasteless recently that I have a sudden notion to buy some tinned instead.
