Hello strangers!
Been a while…..did I miss anything important?
Finally had an overnight cycle-camp adventure with a pal at the end of last week…Shropshire Hills: lovely, but the clue was in the name (HILLS 😱). Still recovering….
Far too many things going on that stop me from doing these things often enough.

Mostly a tent to dry today…plus an amble to watch a pal do her first (& she assures me, last) half marathon.

Oh yes: anyone know what NCAP content means? I know NSFW, but no idea what the mods did there 🤣

You must have said something vaguely political.......doesn't seem to take much these days!

I once saw a politician cross the road and [DELETED BY MODS - REPORT TO THE MODS OFFICE FOR FLAGELLATION, YOU NAUGHTY BOY]

Ps - i'm only kidding, the mods to a tricky job and do so for free. I couldn't do it.

We're going again to look at the house we viewed last week, the new build. If it still tugs our rugs we'll be buying it.

For a while I used to be against the thought of a new build and preferred the idea of something older with a bit of character, but I have swung round to the idea of a new build being better the older I've got. It's nice to think of moving in and everything being brand new and no work being required probably for the rest of your days apart from occasional painting and decorating after a few years of being in.

Not to mention the snagging…..hopefully a decent builder with a decent site manager sorting bits out: good luck Drago!

I’ve become a rugby union addict

Watched all the games that the home nations have played and quite a few of the other nations games .
I find football boring in comparison with rugby. Might try and persuade MrsP to buy me a season ticket for Leicester Tigers as an early Xmas present.🐅🐅

My SiL is an ex professional, now semi professional rugbyist.

His day job is a builder, and he'll do a snagging list for us for free. He does snagging for the council before they'll accept new builds from contractors.

Aye. New building, new carpets, 10 year NHBC guarantee. I am getting abit fed up with the level of constant ongoing maintenance the current 60 year old Chez Drago requires. I'm running out of patience with it.
