Afternoon all . Hope everyone has had a good day , the weather was definitely better than forecast in Leamington today . We went to the sailing club this morning in two minds whether to sail or no as the forecast was for it to rain solidly all day .
But as it was the Remembrance Day race we felt we should and as it turned out, it was ok as we had a nice break in the weather and got the race done and we got packed away before the heavy rain came .
Mrs exlaser is happy as the conditions suited her and she sailed to a easy win and I managed to scrap and flounder myself to second place which makes me happy as my sailing has been rubbish for the last six months 😂.
I am now sat at home feeling like am aged 100 and waiting until 8pm when I can consume some liquid pain killer 🥂🥂.
We are off to Saundersfoot in South Wales tomorrow for a few day in a flat overlooking the beach, looking a forecast it could be interesting.

I tried googling "pictures of women in scanty underwear"
What I got was a photo of a Wesh woman in big pink bloomers.

Are you sure you were not looking at your "Pictures folder"????

anyway - on another topic
we had the grandkids over and they were getting noisy so were sent off to their rooms to calm down
except the 3 year old who stayed with us
It was approaching 11 O-Clock

when the 2 minute silence started we sat him on my knee and shhh'd him - he was quite interested at the chimes of Big Ben

when it finished the 11 it obviously stopped ringing

so he decided to help out by singing Ding-Dong Ding Dong Ding Dong

hmm - not quite got the idea - but very cute and funny

Good day all. Up at stupid O'clock again.
Rain is hammering down as promised.
My daughter is calling later. She didn't say and didn't ask what for ie lunch ? If so is she bringing or am I making ? No problem either way but the family is difficult to cater for........out of the 4 at Home 3 are veggies but one of them will now eat chicken. 2 won't eat bread, potatoes or rice (dietary reasons) and one will eat anything she is given.
Not easy:blush:
I was going to make a loaf to have with ham and pickled onions/beetroot but if she is relying on me for lunch that's no good.

@mo what was that veg soup from the Coop that you said was nice ? I might get some for her.

Good morning all.
It's raining heavily outside, and the wind is picking up. It's due to be 45-50 mph winds around lunchtime.
It'll be a really soggy and windy first dog walk to day.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Coooeee. We have a weather warning for high winds with possible damage to trees and roofs. It said it would start around 4 am and stop at around 6 pm tonight and sure enough it's blowing a hoolie out there with rain mixed in with it. I can hear things moving around outside.

Stay safe peeps :hello:
