Hi folks did my morning beach walk, collecting seaweed and a load of fishing debris.....theres a local crabber who takes any old pots/nets/ropes and dumps it at sea when a storm hits it all arrives back on the beach. Why the SOB does this i dont know but to have such contempt for his working environment is vile.
What shall i cook today? in the garden ive carrots/celeriac/parsnips and leeks hmmm might do a mixed veg stew and put some dumplings in
Im sorting my pedal/clip update but its costing more than i'd like...going to look cool though in a retro luddite way,,,nice

We have set the new printer up and I have also got it to work on Mr WD phone 😆. He is a bit of a luddite .

It's not tw fastest printer around, but it works, it's in colour and it has a scanner as well so that'll do as they say.

Back from our local TCV day. Spent the day clearing weeds round recently planted young trees, barrowing mulch to and spreading it round said young trees; all in the rain - !

Why can't they just make printers any more? Other than the cheap end of the scale, they're all multifunction machines. Scanner, copier and printer. I've already got decent scanners, why can't I just buy a printer and nothing else.

I've one missing, with DPD, since April this year. They'll not say it's lost, so the company I ordered from won't replace. If only they'd admit delivering it to the wrong house.

Cold here at 0° but no rain forecast.
Just a quick hello as I have a messy kitchen to sort out.....family were here yesterday and they drink lots of coffee n tea.

It's dark and cold outside, -1⁰c.
I have a Sainsbury's delivery this morning, I've stocked up on the Christmas wine order. An extra 25% off if you buy six bottles.
I don't think it going to rain today, but it's not going to be warm.

A heart stopping moment yesterday. Got the bill for the final balance for our toilet to shower room conversion. I'd already paid the deposit and materials bills so everything was set up on online banking. A few hours after I had made the payment the guy messaged to say the money hadn't arrived, turns out his bank details had changed, same bank and company name, different account number 😮
Opened up my banking app and saw the money had been returned to my account as the details no longer matched👍
The new bank account number was on the final invoice when I checked, but I would have expected the company to advise of the changes when submitting the final invoice.
The other downside is that my nice healthy balance now has a £2k hole in it🥲

Morning all

This morning I shall be collecting up all the fallen leaves on my rear lawns and then I'll wash the cars.
It's 2 years, today, since my stepmother died - which set in motion the process of finally getting my Dad's inheritance. Seems ages ago now.
