Wow. My hands are freezing. I had to go out and clean the outside of the windows as a dam Robin keeps throwing itself at the windows and pecking the glass. As well as a mess all over the windowsills , I could see peck marks all over the glass. Stupid bird.

I’ve just been for a couple of miles. I’ve got Ronhill Tech Winter tights. They have a brushed fleece inner and are nice and cosy.

Back in the early 80's, pre Ron Hill trakkies our Wednesday club runs started from Poole Quay. It could get a tad chilly in winter with a stiff wind coming over the water. One club night one of the lads turned up wearing a pair of his wife's thick black tights. There were a few raised eyebrows and a fair bit of ribaldry, but the following week several others had seen the light. Of course then someone had to go and spoil it by wearing fancy patterned ones, and it escalated from there. I think my pair of elaborately patterned ones complete with a fetching seam were best😉 Eventually the milder weather came and the trend died a natural death😁
