It's cold out tonight, just got back from a quick dog walk. Millie enjoyed it but as she is a Collie, she always enjoys going out no matter what the weather.

I am knackered!! Been awake since 0430, tried to drift off again but had to give in.
Busy(ish) day. MUST do Aldi as I chickened out yesterday.
Family coming at lunch time......it will be soup and baked cobs.
Kitchen company coming to give ideas and a price.........my brief phone conversation makes me think it will be expensive.
Lpool on TV later, Fulham in Cup semi final soo a big game.

Good morning all.
Here we go again. Our daughter is coming over today after work, so I'm going to cook a chicken casserole with rice for tea.
All the usual things to do today before then though.
A long dog walk via the Vets. I need to put an insurance claims form in, and get Millie weighed. Then down to the local shops for a few bits and then into the cafe for breakfast with MrsP.
I'm out of breath already.

Morning all

I've promised to take MrsD out for lunch today.
The Royal Oak at Luxborough sounds like a plan - at least they'll have a roaring log fire on the go.

A cold morning so I won't bother with going for a run. Picked up a Halogen heater from Screwfix yesterday and it's quite effective. 3 bars each individually switchable and the option to have it oscillate. It's psychological but seeing the bars glowing red makes you feel a bit warmer compared to the CH radiators. We have a coal effect gas hearth that's a nice focal point but we rarely use, be nice if there was the electrical equivalent that would fit in the same space.
