Just been out in the fromt garden to give the Lavender a very very belated trim. Bright sunshine and fresh but not bitter. Just put some porridge on and switched the new electric heater on to use up a bit of the excess electricity that we're generating.

part of my trying to get fit are a couple of walks to Headingley,forty mins each way slowly,new Docs are crippling me.So today i gets sat down at 12-00 when an older lady sits with me.two and a half hours later two coffees each we are still talking.It's the longest i have ever spoken with a stranger,it was brilliant.

I've just had BT on the phone, and at last I think I have the package I wanted. Broadband only.
The woman from the digital services seemed to know what she was doing, and I now have texts and emails with the correct package and details of how much refunding will be coming my way, £93, when the next bill is generated at the end of this month.
I wait with trepidation that it is all sorted.
We'll see.

Good luck - last time I used BT for anything they spent 3 months telling me that by house didn;t exist
in spite of there being a BT labelled box on the wall outside - THAT BT HAD INSTALLED THEMSELVES!

Only got it fixed because it was a new house and the builders were still on site. The site manager happened to be seeing the BT liaison the day after I told him about it and he sorted it out

I was not impressed!

Me too . I remember Mo contacting him and him saying he was having a social media break, I hope that’s all it is. He seems a really nice man who posted interesting things. Fingers crossed it’s nothing serious and he will come back refreshed after a social media detox.

I can understand taking a break, but deleting your account seems a bit terminal.

I went mad and while back and told the admins what they could do. I'm surprised they let me back, but I'm grateful that they did and my head is much improved.

Good morning. Went to visit a friend last night. Had nibbles and a few glasses of wine while catching up on all the news. Her living room was really warm, almost oppressively so. She works from home so I suppose she has got accustomed to it and doesn't notice. That's my excuse for nodding off at the table anyway 😁
