Good morning all. A cold and frosty start to the day here in Barnet.
Todays highlights are, Sainsbury's are delivering some essential stuff between 0830 and 0930. Then this afternoon six of us are off th Kings Cross to go to the immersive moon landings show at the Lightbox. The narrator is Tom Hanks, and after that we are going to a Sri lankan/Indian restaurant nearby.
Another busy day in paradise.

Cooooeeeee. 3 deg here so slightly warmer than the last few days.

I was only thinking about Dave yesterday and wondered when he would come back. Seems now he won't be.

A good day, yesterday and got a lot done. Today will be quieter, only a lunch time drink is planned with maybe some paperwork to sort.
I woke for a pee at 0500 and dozed on and off till 7 so quite good for me.
Have you seen next week's forecast? It's set to dip below 0° again

Stuff to do today: change 2 double socket outlets, set up new security (hedgehog) camera.

We will probably go shopping on Monday and I will have to collect Mr WD tablets as well.

anyway - rang GP about a rash that won;t go away
offered an appointment on Saturday - at the GP extra thingy up the road
no whoops - its gone already
but there is one on Monday - same place
no whoops that';s gone as well

could put you on the list for the GP to ring but she will probably just say to go to the walk in centre

decided I'll just go there on my own bat and see what they say
sometimes it seems like there is not much point in having a GP except as a central point for the paperwork to go to


anyway - go to go to the FoodBank in a bit to fix one of their computers
nice to feel useful

Oh - if anyone wants a laugh watch the last bit of Peston - or all of it really - from last night
Jess Phillips was pretty much wetting herself laughing at Jake Berry getting ripped apart about all sorts of stuff
especially the Post Office scandal
Then Ian Hislop came on and just ripped him into little pieces
funniest thing I have seen on teh telly for ages!

Just keep an eye on Jess Phillips on the long shots - the look of her face is pure joy!

Made a raisin loaf in the new bread machine yesterday. It came out really well. Next time I will try adding some small pieces of marzipan to see how that comes out.

Double sockets with USB charging points installed in both of our guest bedrooms.
Will make things easier if they forget to bring a phone charger with them.
Awaiting delivery of my spy cam - should be here anytime soon. Can't wait to set it up and see what it can do. It's got night vision and pan & zoom - all watchable from my phone.

I bought a couple of tuna mayo and salad baguettes when I was shopping so just had one with a cuppa.

Although the sun is out it’s still baltic here.
