Morning all.
Woke fully at 06.30 which I am happy with........I am sick of waking at 0430.
Yesterday was exciting as 'they' emptied my green bin which has been full since before the strike 12 weeks ago.
Now, our Dirk will no doubt boast about it being fish Friday but I can go one better.....its 'wash the bedding' Friday
My cleaner will be here from 10 till 12 and then the day will be mine. mmmm what can I get up to ?

I can go one better, it's get rid of the bedding Friday . I've just decorated the bedroom in a different shade of blue, quite a bit darker, so we've bought new bedding. Instead of just throwing the old stuff, I thought it made sense to use it one last time then bin it.

Good morning folks.
Eerily quiet here now the feeling of being on tenterhooks as Mrs Tkk pushed to meet her deadline are gone. Although I wasn't the one doing the work I was aware of the pressure, a bit like pacing up and down outside the Maternity Ward all those years ago🤔
Anyway, today we are meeting up for our "Second Friday " outing and will be visiting Ashley Cross. It's a nice area with lots of pubs, and it now calls itself " Ashley Cross Village " A few years ago it installed a Petanque pitch in the small park and has a few clothes shops with no prices on the items in the window. As I mentioned there are some excellent pubs within a few hundred metres of each other, one is the " Bermuda Triangle " so fingers crossed I don't go missing!

I am having the bedroom refitted this month but it's neutral colours so bedding can stay.

Not much planned for today. Mrs exlaser not working today , so I am not going too much out on a limb to think , a trip to a coffee shop and farm shop and a walk might be on the agenda today 😂😀
