Belated morning greetings a balmy -1 here's in cleckhuddersfax. Just completed a 37km ttt and decided I am getting too old for this sh one t 😆🥵😆.

Going to have to find some fitness and lose some timber over the next few months, the list of climbs my buddies have come up with that they wish to complete over 7 days would have the Messiah Merckx doubting the sanity of it😬

I’m badly needing work done in my house too but keep putting it off. I am getting more and more anti social the older I get, and the thought of people in the house for several days at a time with the upheaval and disruption puts me off. In hindsight, I am kicking myself for not getting stuff done when I had access to dad’s house for several months after he died. I could have moved over there with Molly for several weeks and got stuff done then.

I am antisocial like yourself , dont like work guys in house either , do as much as I can to avoid people in the house. Had to get new windows and got them installed in the summer , its the best time as a fair chance of good weather . Have some gardening jobs lined up for yourself. I know to my cost that the longer you postpone work the more trouble you make for yourself in the long run. The relief I felt when I got the workmen out was immense !

It's minus 3 here now, and I'm going to show how hard I am by cleaning the car.

So
this morning there was a red car inthe drive

This evening there is a blue one

I have no idea how to use a lot of the fancy bits and I don;t have a manual
I will have to sit in it tomorrow with my laptop and a PDF reader and try to work out what it can do that is - or may be - useful

Oh - and I have no instructions for the satnav
luckily it is very similar to our old one but not totally
and, thought the map seems ok, i the instructions seem to think there is a roundabout at the bottom of our road - when that was demolished about 10 years ago and it is now a massive flyover with a load of roads leading off it

Oh - and i tried to put some petrol in it and failed - had to leave teh petrol station in shame and come home to look at the instructions!

Still - I'll have it sorted - probably by the end of the decade!

Looks like SatNav needs some updated maps!

Just reading a post on our local Crieff and Strathearn Friendship page on Facebook about someone complaining about seeing someone cycling without lights and dressed in black and half the town jumping in, nearly all making horrible comments about cyclists. I just can’t take much more of the anti cyclist vitriol that constantly gets spouted. I’ve pretty much decided I won’t be back out on a bike apart from seriously early in the morning in the summer for a quick hour before these idiots appear.
