Lamb casserole today.

I had a Ginsters steak bake thingy and a cuppa. No bin lorry yet. Once it’s been I’ll bring it in then have a little stroll now that it’s calmed down a bit.

Just finished two rounds of toast with marmalade. The loaf was topologically interesting due to it being a handmade rustic cob from a small bakery in Wimborne coupled with my lack of precision with the bread knife. Lots of dips and hollows for the butter and marmalade to form pockets of delight and some of the protruding bits were extra crunchy where they were closer to the toaster elements.

The wind has finally calmed down so popped out for a wander.

Don't recall seeing that....let me know if it is nice.
I like lamb but it can be fatty and I don't eat fat.

Visit to the emporium that masquerades as a farm shop (sells Barbour jackets and £200 pairs of wellies) and picked up tea, lamb and mint haggis bomb to be accompanied by garlic mushrooms and chips 😎

DOne my Grumpy Old Man bit by firing off 4 late train claims to East Midland Railways

trains to and from Manchester were both late so I have claimed

probably get about 4 shillings back - but from experience I know that senior manglement only take notice of things like that

and the few quid is better in my pocket than their bonus
