Sky Glass "works" like that. Always listening, and has replied with those words when I've been asked to try it.

Someone who has sky glass told me not to be temped....its awful (his words).

I've got Sky Stream. It's just a tiny little puck and seems to work well. The remote also has a button to hold and speak.

I'm sure the picture quality and sound is better than the ancient Sky box I had.

I honestly said the same ie I am sure the picture is clearer/sharper.
Sound......I have a sound bar which is playing up so jury is out on that.

The grandkids family have Skt Stream - they have disabled the voice activation as it was too annoying

get reacting to things the kids said
and not reacting when people wanted it to

Easier to use the remote

Exactly the point I was making.....it doesn't do anything unless you press the button and keep it pressed while issuing the command. So far so good for me.

Cars cleaned. Quick Forest Gump, then lunch, then music practice. Then snooze, then off to Lidl this evening.

Well we have the smallest grand kid here
arrived with is Dad at about 9 and has been playing happily all morning

did have an episode where he decided that eating lunch was not important and he could go over and play with cars - and ignore me calling him back
That didn;t go well
nor did the crying about it after
after less than a minute he remembered that it was us and not Mum and Dad or Nan and that such things don;t work here
so after than he abandoned the noise and finaihed his lunch and was allowed to go back to his cars

now we have to take him to the kitchen and bathroom shop so we can book a date for the kitchen to be done and then take him home

wonder what we will leave behind this - there is always something we don;t notice!
