Interesting.....horrible but interesting.
I was my hands every week. Maybe I should do it twice a week.

Morning folks :okay: Feeling really pleased about being able to help out at the Wild life rescue ^_^ gives me purpose and its great to be around people who care. Birds and various critters arrive from all over the Highlands, a Kestrel is the latest with a damaged wing but prognosis is good. Theres a resident owl called Romeo with huge yellow eyes to greet you every day ^_^
After my latest freeze drying on the bike ive bought some new kit, an under helmet head cover and a Endura winter coat which will help prevent a hyperthermia fatality....

It's amazing how much difference a really thin beanie under your helmet makes. Also a pair of silk liner gloves under normal gloves.

Helping at a wildlife rescue centre sounds great. I often regret not concentrating more on science at school and trying to get into animal care in some form or other.

Oh, and it's hypothermia not hyper.......that's overheating.

Thanks for the correction :okay: I dont think i'll be overheating
No qualifications required at this rescue! my jobs so far have been cleaning the aviaries and jet washing!

When I was in Aldi I noticed coconut milk and bought one to try. Thought it might be nice on my cereal, but it seems a bit watery and I can't say I detect much coconut flavour so won't bother again. I'll stick with oat milk.

Yes, I bought one, just once. It went down the drain.

Most if not all the oat, almond and god knows what so called milk is rubbish. You only have to look at the number of Ingredients in them to see that.

One of the better ones that I enjoyed was called Jord. Much less ingredients in it but sadly the Co-op stopped stocking it and Aldi don't have anything like that either. I would need to go into one of the supermarkets in Perth or do an online shop to get it.

Mind you, cows milk is reputed to have traces of hormones, antibiotics, etc in it too so I don't particularly like the thought of that either  Nothing seems to be natural these days. Nearly everything is full of things you can't even pronounce!

I found the same, coconut milk was disappointing. I usually stick with Oatmilk as it works so well with Porridge. Vanilla oatmilk is divine on cereal, and of course as granddaughter loves chocolate Oatmilk I get to have that on my " Hoops " when she comes for a sleepover 😁

Your right. Too many antibiotics are literally thrown at cows, sheep and pigs now. I'm surprised we don't all glow in the dark.
