Mind you, cows milk is reputed to have traces of hormones, antibiotics, etc in it too so I don't particularly like the thought of that either  Nothing seems to be natural these days. Nearly everything is full of things you can't even pronounce!

Ah, but a study by the " Dairy Research Institute " funded by the National Dairy Council " said that's nothing to get concerned about 😉

This is our usual oatmilk

Which one is that? I am currently using Oatly whole chilled. It's the nicest of the ones I've tried, but still has a few chemicals in it that I would rather not have.

Googling.........Rude Health?

MANY years ago while on holiday in Devon we called at a farm for cream teas. They advertised fresh milk so we asked for a pint.
Fresh indeed !!!
The farmer said (imagine Devon accent) "I'll just go and mile ee cow". And he did! He brought us a bottle of WARM milk.
Twas very enjoyable though.

Anyway, in todays news.
It's now raining.
My curry is in the slow cooker. Sadly the mushrooms didn't look good so I binned them. It now has chicken, onion and Bell pepper. I don't know whether to nip out for some or leave it like it is.

Barnet,
When I was in Aldi I noticed coconut milk and bought one to try. Thought it might be nice on my cereal, but it seems a bit watery and I can't say I detect much coconut flavour so won't bother again. I'll stick with oat milk.

Coconut milk is really the basis of a curry sauce, I don't think there are many other uses.

Apart from feeding baby coconuts of course...
