Either my memory has deteriorated to such an extent I can’t remember.Or she has never ordered me one.:angry: When I Jokingly say I want another bike 🚴🏽 she says you’ve already got three. You can only ride one at once:cycle::cycle:

So the likelyhood of her buying you a nice new shiny bike is, tbh, not great.

Back from shopping - had to do Tesco and farm shop

then nipped into Aldi as I was passing (OK should have done it first instead of Tesco) as I remembered the idea of Maris Piper oven chips

SWMBO is fussy so I thought they might be better for her

anyway - back and old light shade from the bedroom has been put on Freecycle as 'someone' decided the old one was not good enough and we 'needed' a new one
to be honest it is better - and uses lower voltage bulbs so will save a few pence a decade

This afternoon we have a face-to-face doctor appointment - 2nd in a week
well - not exactly - this one is apparently a nurse practioner - but whatever
previous one was a doctor at a different surgery - and was very rude and abrasive - only good thing was that my wife got the antibiotices she wanted

how this one is better - as it is at out proper surgery it should be OK

anyway - time to do the kitchen floor and then have lunch
Couldn't you use plates instead, or is it a statement on how well you clean the floor?

Walked to Wimborne and wandered around Waitrose. It was very busy. Got everything off the shopping list so brownie points for that. Whizzed through the self scan checkout, I like that waitrose let you scan straight
into your shopping bag instead of placing everything on the weighing plate.

EDIT:
Bonus was just missing the bus home and popping in to the Taphouse for a swift pint before the next bus arrived. 🍺

My wife's opinion on how well I clean the kitchen floor would suggest that eating off it is not a good idea

Of course - she could do it herself - but ........

Bit of a late one last night so just got out of bed - lazy sods!

Not much on today apart from going to collect a click & collect filter coffee machine from Argos. How exciting!

News:

-6C out there.

2 new baking trays have appeared from Amazon.

Mrs SD had her hair done yesterday and the price appears to have succumbed to inflationary pressures - up from £138 to £146.

Have a good day all.

All the 34 Argos stores in southern Ireland to close next June , there go a lot of jobs

Sainsbury’s purchased Argos for 1.1 billion pounds in 2016. Its strategy in the UK has been to close standalone Argos stores, while opening outlets within Sainsbury’s supermarkets. However, the group does not have a supermarket presence in Ireland
Maybe they will open up Sainsburys supermarkets and have Argos instore like here
