Ruddles hasn't been brewed in Rutland or Leicestershire for years.
Bought out by Greene King, the brewery was closed. It's brewed in Bury St.Edmunds, Suffolk.

Thanks for that
Edit was in Witherspoons in Stone this morning.Had a plant of Ruddles.Still tastes good.

My phone tells me it is Warner (2°) but my body disagrees.
Too dark to see clearly but it seems the snow has gone.
I didn't get to the aunties on Tuesday so I have that pleasure today.
We had the sweet n sour chicken yesterday but there is loads left over so will probably have that today.

Good morning, and yes I think it is a good one. Felt quite pissed off yesterday, bored in fact, but after a straight seven hours kip I'm ready to go. Once again cycling has been binned, yellow ice warning till midday, so I've latched on to a walk a couple of friends. Outside, company and picnic. Excellent. I can't get over how fed up I am with being stuck inside so much.

Now I'm not a fan of British Gas. No secret there. I've just submitted my electric and gas readings only to be met with the onscreen message "Are you sure? That doesn't seem quite right" So I'm thinking "Are you here? Of course I'm sure. Why would I put in the wrong numbers?"

Suffice to say our gas usage has been high the last month. Central heating costs, not so much the time used but the extra consumption to raise the temperature from a low overnight base. Can't be helped, though I may mention it in passing over tonight's G&T.

Morning. 6 mile chilly walk done. Still minus 3 even in the sun.

Three of the Hydro’s riding school ponies looked quite happy though.
