Amazon up to their usual tricks, ordered two books for the Granddaughter, its free delivery with prime or £3.60 without they told me, clicked the £3.60 then investigated the delivery options, free delivery is available without signing up for prime.

A golden oldie from my Facebook memories this morning.

A frustrated wife buys a pair of crotchless panties in an attempt to spice up her dead sex life. She puts them on, together with a short skirt, and sits on the sofa opposite her husband.
At strategic moments she uncrosses her legs...
Enough times that her husband finally asks, "Are you wearing crotchless panties?"
"Y-e-s," she answers with a seductive smile.
"Thank f*** for that. I thought you were sitting on the cat."

Morning all . It’s car service and mot day today . What a busy week I am having 😂. I had to be there for 8.30 which was a shock to the system these day, it’s supposed to be ready about 12ish . So I am passing the time walking round Leamington and having coffee. Tbh I am just about into Leamington Art Gallery and Museum for the first time ever. I don’t like to rush things , I’ve only lived in the area for over 50 years . 😀

Need a new monitor for my PC.
Went to Curry's in Barnstaple, saw the one we liked and it was reduced in the sale from £299 to £249.
After waiting a while for a 'salesman' to see us, we were told that it's not in stock.
Went home, looked on their website and bought the exact same monitor for £179 with free delivery.
Ridiculous!

Yep! Did anyone else's mother do "hot cross buns" on bites and stings? If we had a sting my mum would make a cross shape on it using her fingernail pushed hard in to the bite. Hurt but worked - probably as it hurt more than the sting! 🤣

Friend popped round with a Bird Box which is now installed in the back garden with a wildlife camera trained on it. We've not been successful on previous occasions so fingers crossed that this one attracts visitors.

That's a result then Dirk, you've saved a fair bit and they're delivering it for free so you don't have to lug it home.

I mentioned earlier that I was about to order 7 home delivered meals for 20 quid (introductory offer).
Tried to change one of the meals (fish pie) but no, that is the deal. So, anyway, I went with that. The rest look fine.
