Fforgot to mention that following yesterdays walk the majority decamped to the local 'Spoons for coffee. We used to use the new Methodist Church which had a revamp a few years ago and had a Café which sold excellent coffee and home made cake. Unfortunately following Covid it opened with much reduced opening times. I was patiently waiting in line to be served when I saw they had an offer on beer, with Ruddles being 99p a pint, coffee was £1:20 or thereabouts. I pointed this discrepancy out to Mrs T and we decided on beer. I purchased one pint of Ruddles, one pint of Fuggle de Dum and one pint of Exmoor Beast ( 6.66% ) . I had a couple of the 50p CAMRA discount tokens in my wallet so I handed them over and was happy to pay £4.50 for the round 🍺🍺🍺 😁

Ruddies a good Leicestershire ale

Heavy frost this morning, run postponed until it clears up a bit.
Son phoned yesterday to ask how we’re getting on with the bean to cup machine he gifted us. We explained that we’re running down our stock of ground coffee first before firing up the new machine, only six bags to go 🤔

Good day, another light covering of snow and some very heavy hail around 7.00am. Today I have an afternoon with my Cards group. I'm going to pop out and inspect the village road to assess how safe or otherwise it is for people to come along. I'm OK with local conditions but we have some nervous drivers in the group. Apart from that nothing planned though I'm sure things will be found which need doing!

:hello:
