Not been out on the road since the beginning of December.I have been using the turbo three times a week just to stop my ageing legs from seizing up

Weather looks favourable for a ride at the weekend.

An eventful trip out for me.
1. Car taxed and I am £165 worse off.
2. Went to the farm shop literally as the woman came in with a load of eggs she had just collected.......I even had to wait while (to quote her) she washed the chicken poo off.
AND......
Its bl**dy freezing out there.

Agree with Dirk , old small Suzukis are generally not known for their longevity , they rust a fair bit , it will be something else next year probably . Unless its very clean underneath everywhere else

Theres quite a few old Suzuki's running round here, my Swift is 11 years old, and I regularly see older cars running round.

I forgot to say morning so Morning all
Put the washing on and changed the bedding turned the mattress over as it was making funny noises when I turned over, it's 9 years old.
Just had a quick look at the price of them WoW.......I'll leave it to next year.
Cooked a joint of turkey I think it is a small breast, my sister gave me for Christmas it was frozen so thawed it out over night and cooked it, I had a bit on the end and it was nice, so with some roast potato and veg that is dinner sorted and the size of the joint might me dinner sorted for tomorrow as well.
We have cloud, but a high of 10c.

Lunch today is salmon encroute with veg and a few roast spuds.
Its in the oven now and smelling good.

Mr WD has gone down to our daughters house with his prescription. SIL will drop it off at the quacks when he goes to town.

Mr WD will also have a gossip with any neighbours he meets along the way. He is like an old woman gossiping to anyone 😆

No idea what we have on the menu today.

I wouldn't consider an 11 year old car 'old'.
Generally speaking, small Suzukis don't fare much better than older Fiat Pandas in the corrosion stakes.
