Opened the curtains about 30 minutes ago. WOW! A beautiful red/orange sky and heavy frost. Mind you the guys who asked for an 8.00am start will be wondering 🤔 This is classic pensioner weather, plan a start time, weather changes so we would delay for two hours. The joy of not having to work.

Well that was a shock......or 2 shocks really.
I slept in till 0750 then looked out to see the garden frozen over.
I have no idea what the day will bring.

Think it's the really bad cold that's going around - streaming nose, dry cough, general aches and feeling meh. MrsD's had it for a week but she's getting a lot better now. She's walking down to Tesco later to get me something nice to comfort me.......

Just received a message from Evri saying they have received my package.Wondering now if Wiggle means delivery date of Feb10 is this year or next year

I don’t like Evri, although at the moment, we seem to have a couple of decent local drivers doing our deliveries and they are not too bad.

still gorgeous and sunny here.

Lambs liver with bacon, onions and something else. Not sure what the something else will be though, oh and gravy as well.

We decided to do it in the slow cooker, with onions, bacon, carrots, and peas with gravy. Might have either mashed potatoes or fries or something.
