39 days to go.

Hopefully 39 drier days too, although tomorrow is looking dismal.

Had a 12 mile mountain hike with my best mate planned as well - now binned. 😒

Afternoon all . Just spent the afternoon at the sailing club messing around with boats getting one of them ready for sale.
It was very pleasant messing around in the sunshine. So pleasant I might even do it again tomorrow 😂😀
It a very nice place to be when the sun’s shining, you would never guess you are with in a couple of hundred metres of the centre of Leamington. Some pics from last summer .

It does make you wonder what causes some posters to suddenly stop posting. It would be nice to have a 'remembered and not forgotten' thread - but that would probably degenerate into negative posts. 😒

Someone I recall on MSE once came on with a hastily typed message saying the police were at the door, and she was being sectioned. A few months later there was another brief post saying she'd just been allowed access to the internet again, and then she disappeared for good....

I rarely watch TV now, if my Good Lady wasn't here it would spend more time off and gathering dust than being watched.

I watched a couple of old Judge John Deed episodes on the Drama channel. I do like Martin Shaw.

I rarely watch TV now, if my Good Lady wasn't here it would spend more time off and gathering dust than being watched.

Same for me Dave but my wife can sit and watch utter dross for hours. I enjoy finding a good film to watch or a very good series, Happy Valley for example, but if Mrs P is out for the evening I'll happily sit with the silence.

I know Alan Sugar is a caricature of the successful businessman/entrepreneur but how anyone consider these young people as employees let alone potential business partners is beyond me. None of them would last a day anywhere I worked in 44 years.
