Barnet,
Good morning all.
It's a bright start to the day here.
The community skip has turned up in our road, a chance to get rid of some junk without having to take it to the dump/recycling centre.
Sainsbury's are coming between 0930 and 1030.
My new passport is out for delivery today, and there is the weekly meeting of the escape committee this afternoon, although one member is back in Fiji, and another is in Cambodia.
Busy busy busy.

Good morning people,
Off to Dorchester today, second Tuesday meet up is now second Friday meet up due to so many pubs being closed earlier in the week. Lunch booked at the Blue Raddle, a trip to the Convivial Rabbit and perhaps finishing at Copper Street Brewery. We're taking it easy as we have grandparent duties this evening.

I do watch it just to see how bad some of the candidates are. I wonder what the selection process is to find such numpties.

It's a deliberate selection, they could find many competent candidates but they choose the oddballs and no hopers to make it more "entertaining and engaging"
Peter Kay did an excellent parody of the process in the " Britains got the Pop Factor and possibly a new Jesus " Series.

Morning all :hello:

Feeling a lot better this morning.
Won't be doing Fish Friday today as it's blimmin cold out there and I'm staying in the warm again today.
Did I mention that I haven't got a TV?
I've got a desk top PC and a 32" monitor and I can find plenty of films and documentaries worth watching for free.
Can't see the point in all of those subscriptions for the dross on TV these days.

Same for me Dave but my wife can sit and watch utter dross for hours. I enjoy finding a good film to watch or a very good series, Happy Valley for example, but if Mrs P is out for the evening I'll happily sit with the silence.
The remotes aren't that hard work!

G'day all.
Sweated again last night. No idea why but I woke up 2ish and I was soaked. Changed PJs and flipped the duvet then out like a light, whats all that about ?

What causes night sweats for a man?

Because it can also be a sign of infection; liver, kidney or pituitary gland disease; or an autoimmune disease, a diagnosis of low testosterone can lead to additional testing. Other medical conditions that can cause night sweats include hypoglycemia, infection, HIV and certain cancers, such as lymphoma or leukemia.
