A doctor walks into the exam room to find a husband and wife sitting there. "What seems to be the problem?" he asks.
"Well every time my husband opens his mouth, he can only sing," says the wife.
"Interesting, but I'd like to hear it from your husband," replied the doctor.
The husband shrugs, opens his mouth and sings, "Well, she's all you'd ever want, She's the kind I like to flaunt and take to dinner, but she always knows her place. She's got style, she's got grace, she's a winner. She's a lady"
"Interesting," says the doctor. "Let's try it again."
The husband once again opens his mouth and sings, "What's new, Pus*ycat? Whoa, whoa, What's new, Pus*ycat?"
"Hmmmmmmmmm. Once more, please," said the doctor.
Again the husband opens his mouth and sings, "My my my Delilah. Why why why Delilah? I could see, that girl was no good for me, but I was lost like a slave that no man could free."
"I've heard enough," says the doctor.
"Well? What's the diagnosis, doctor?" asked the wife.
"I'd say it's a acute case of TJS, Tom Jones Syndrome," says the doctor.
"Is it rare?" asked the wife.
The doctor replied, "It's not unusual."

:hello: Good morning from a chilly Coventry, I've put the sheets out, a top to toe line full, I'm stood the putting the washing out and theres a pigeon cooing in the tree across the ally and various birds flying about, and I suddenly thought, "whats that"? There was a Heron flying over.

Good day. I'm sitting in bed with coffee, looking at a pale blue sky tinged orange, the trees swaying gently. All is well and I'm meeting a cycling buddy at 10.00.........

...........and then I remember the forecast for 12.00 💦

Sometimes it takes a lot to be a cyclist 💪✊️

Interesting article about Coffee in today's Guardian. Mostly it's a very good beverage to drink with positive effects on athletic performance.

( I once gave up caffeine for six weeks prior to a very long endurance event. Taking a coffee during the event was startling in its effects.)

I've been off it for 9 months now apart from the occasional decaf. Mainly to try and improve my sleep and lessen the amount of headaches. I think it has helped the headaches but not so much the sleep, although I think it's maybe a fraction better some nights.

Just walked the riverside trail this morning but threw in a few sprints along the way to get the heart rate up and the legs turning over.

I am looking forward to the final part of The Catch tonight.

I was reading about Coffee beans and the various regions where they are grown, I learned that the coffee plant produces caffeine as a natural insecticide. Coffee grown at a higher altitude tends to have lower levels of caffeine due to there generally being fewer insects the higher you go.
There are several ways of removing caffeine from coffee, some using chemical solvents. I was looking at a bag of " Low Caffeine " coffee beans expecting the contents to be from coffee grown at high altitude. Instead what they had done is mix ordinary coffee beans with decaffeinated ones in a 50/50 ratio. Devious or genius🤔
