I've been looking at new cycling shoes :hyper:............
and to be honest I don't like the looks of any of them, more so with that “wind up thing” on the sides.... whats wrong with laces and velcro strap
the only pair I sort of liked were MTB boots type, great for the winter only, but they were £170
and most on them were dark colours too, I like beige or sandy.
Come the warmer weather I wear sandals which are spd, I may hold off until next autumn.

Good evening. 70 miles, 2800 feet and a newish route. All in all an "interesting" day. It was friend's route and more urban than I'm used to, enjoyed that aspect more than expected, but that's always the case. Weather started out sunny, quickly deteriorated in to dank and finished off warm and sunny. Four attempts to find a cafe, first was "full" though I suspect we didn't look like ladies who lunch!!! Next two closed, fourth was beggars can't be choosers!

Pleased with the distance and climbing.
