A fortuitous journey back from London. We decided to walk the 20 minute journey to Kensal Rise station instead of waiting for the bus. By the time we arrived at the station we hadn't been overtaken by a bus, so we'd made the right decision to walk. There was a late running train to Charing Cross at the platform so we caught that, and, after much delay arrived just in time to catch our train to Poole. 🚝

Morning. A slightly better sleep last night with less coughing but no energy so yet another lazy day for me. We are in for a very cold week with some snow. Winter is certainly not finished with us yet.

Good BEAUTIFUL morning. Clear blue skies, brilliant sunshine and about 3. Small person is here but out swimming with Mrs P and due back in 30 minutes or so. I have been mooching about doing odds and sods the next of which is a walk to the allotment for more logs. The glass on our 30+ year old Much Wenlock stove has cracked and I've just spent a tricky 30 minutes tracking down a new one. Really surprised to find these can still be purchased, I thought it would be a tough ask.
Not much else happening really. Had a rubbish sleep and have been awake off and on between 2.00 - 5.30am when I finally gave up and went downstairs. I'm hoping small person will crash out after lunch so granddad can crash as well!
