I've just signed up to the local leisure centre, mostly for the swimming pool.
My flexibility needs to be more flexible.
I have noticed that this last year or so I have been stiffening up, so I need to do something about it.
it's on a pay as you go option membership i have taken, so there is no monthly fee.

Well I am up but feeling decidedly out of sorts. Supposed to be doing the Aldi dash but that may not happen.

Tell me about it. I have never been very flexible, but much worse now. Even putting my socks and shoes on is hard work!

Morning all

More stuff to do today. MrsD's nearly got the kitchen and utility sorted. Living room is looking something like normal now.
Plusnet are connecting our broadband today and we've got two king-size beds being delivered that I'll have to assemble.
My sleep pattern seems to have normalised now, after a few days disruption.
Best mates are popping in later, from Minehead, and are bringing our bikes with them.

Hello world! More of the same. Wet! Windy! Cold! When will spring arrive? I'm fed up with this weather gods, it's time for a change. Grump. Grump. Grump.

Right that's that said. So today? Full of excitement. Dentist at 9.10 so I need to crack on as the practice is in Wigan, moved there years ago and now I want to be back in Chorley can I find an HNS dentist? No. May well have to go private at some point in the years ahead. On the way home I'll stop off to see a club mate and drop some kit in for him to try, then it's Canasta and Bridge group this afternoon, and finally I've managed to get myself roped into a fund raising group for the village Sports and Social club and we have a meeting tonight. Phew!

Quite a good day yesterday. Car passed its MOT and my football team won. Two excellent results.

Good morning folks, phone went at five, my Good lady needing the commode, sorted that out and went back to bed but couldn't go back to sleep, wet here and the forecast is for it to be in most of the day putting our afternoon down the club in doubt.

Good morning all, it's grey and damp outside.
MrsP is off to a local wildlife rescue centre to meet the owner and the Vet. who run it to offer her services as a Veterinary nurse. She has talked about volunteering there for a little while now that she only works as and when needed .

Used our walkie talkie radios for the first time yesterday. I was out in the workshop and MrsD was in the dining room when a delivery guy turned up with a mattress. She gave me a shout to come and help shift it upstairs.
Seemed to work well. Think I'll keep it on my belt when I'm outside, or if she's up in her study and I'm in the living room. Saves wandering miles around the house every day.

Maybe I should give Mr WD a walkie talkie. When he wanders around 6 acres of land he can disappear for ages. Plus we have a very large pond. He could get stuck in the pond when he is clearing it of debris.

Same here, I usually end up on my back trying to get my shoes and socks on, doing the yoga class every week helps but not a lot, some of the people in the class are amazingly flexible, and they're not youngsters either.
