Good morning from a grey and rainy Barnet.
Not a lot I can do today, so after breakfast and a soggy dog walk, it might be slobbing out in front of the telly.
I have a half shoulder of lamb to cook for dinner with all the trimmings. So that will keep me occupied for a while. :hungry:

Back again. It's a lovely if very breezy day. I need to make good use of this so the plan is for an hour walk, catch up a load of email and some time on the allotment.

Geez I was confused this morning. Why the almost brand new bedroom clock didn't automatically go forward is a puzzle? I really had no idea for a few minutes. Bit of a worry really.

Empty dishwasher next.

Morning again. Just back from a lovely 9.2 miles walk with a couple of miles jog thrown in. It's a lovely morning and I really enjoyed it.

Well that's the tidying done and I have made a list, the first step in doing all the things which need doing. Really. It's how I cope. If it ain't on the list it don't get done.

Ride arranged for tomorrow. A few hibinators seem to be reappearing. One of my regular buddies, like me an all seasons man, says he's bring along a new guy.........

Father Richard............

Now it's long been a standing joke the pedalling pensioners need a carer. Indeed three medically qualified young women have been granted the status over the years........but a Father, with a capital F, this is a concern......

Now for my walk.

Spent an hour on unpaved roads riding up to a waterfall in one of the many mountains ringing the Oaxaca valley. Coming back down one of the road crew had put an earthmover sideways to block the road and then they left for the day. We got some directions from some drunks a ways away and spent the next 4 hours riding around on washboard roads getting home. Cresting the last range getting home the heavens opened and an incredibly rain storm began which soon turned to hail leaving 4-5 inches on the roads. That really slowed us down as these folks, living in the tropics where it never freezes have no experience driving under these conditions. When we finally got back to the Oaxaca valley it was 90F. Interesting day.
