Good morning all, wheelchair assessment this morning, the on demand bus service requires the chair is checked over before we can use their service.

Morning all

Looks like we're in for a few days of really nice weather.
Plenty of gardening to get on with.
Off down the tip this morning and friends are dropping in for a cuppa later.
The West Somerset Railway starts running a full timetable from today, so we'll have 8 chuffers a day trundling past - always nice to see, hear and smell. We've got annual passes, so they will be used quite a lot over the next few months. Our local station is a request stop; that will be a novelty.

We have icky the fire bobby visiting this morning. Our smoke alarms are playing up.
I assumed we could just change the battery but apparently thats not possible........it should be interesting.

I meant to say, I was surprised by the frost this morning. Disappearing now but was quite heavy at 0730.

Up and already had to move the car
The bathroom work was supposed to start today but their last job was running a bit behind so they asked to delay until tomorrow
But the skip is still booked for today - so to get it close to the house I needed to move the car before it arrives
I have had problem with skip lorries before so wanted to move the car befire they arrive just in case it is one of those drivers that will just dump it and leg it and 'not realise' that the car is now blocked in!
(actually only happened once - but you know!

Done the ironing, I have to go to Waitrose this morning, trike or car decisions as now I have a choice

Dog walked, washing out on the line, barnet council emailed about rubbish and fly tipping on the local fields and Affinity water alerted about a burst main further down the road.
Coffee and toast and marmalade for elevenses, and then onto the compost heap.

Morning all from a sunny Coventry. It must be better weather as mrs exlaser is talking about getting out on her bike .
Don’t think I will lol . Maybe some gentle lawn mowing might be the order of the day , once the washing is back in.
One thing is for sure , no ironing will be done in this house this week .😀
