Morning. It was a tad chilly when I set off but soon warmed up and we now have blue sky and sunshine. Decent 8.4 mile walk done in case I decide not to go back out later. The traffic going through the town is already a bit crazy so I might just hide indoors, as frustrating as it will be on a gorgeous day but I can imagine what the walks will be like later.

I had Sainsbury’s Scottish Salmon Fishcakes With Chilli & Ginger with mushy peas
I bought these the other and they are lovely £3 for two
Oh and I had a sleep afterwards:smile:

Bathroom cabinet assembled, garage organised, workshop organised, puncture repaired on my Willier ( only for it to go flat again!), spring onions and sweet peppers sown.
Been pretty busy today.
Relaxing on our verandah, listening to our babbling brook and bird song, with a cold Hazy Jane Guava........perfect!

We had a very expensive evening last night. Let me explain: we have a faulty lock on the side door which means it can only be opened with a key and not by just turning the handle. I went to put something in the bin outside and the door shut behind me so I couldn't get back in and my wife was on her way back from Blackpool then. Molly was in but she doesn't know how to open the door so we just looked at each other from the lounge window. The key was also on the other side of the door so when my wife arrived home, 45 minutes later, her key couldn't open the door either. In desperation, we had to call an emergency locksmith who got us in. Very nice chap he was and it cost me 155 pounds. :cursing:
