Quite scary what they spend.

And then moan that they can't afford to buy a house........

Long party night last night - got to sleep 5.25am.

Got up at 11.30am, Mrs SD (lightweight) 12.50pm.

Our listening tastes at the moment:

Also had a 60's singalong session last night for a bit of added fun. 😁

Had a very relaxing sail today .We started our spring series last week , this is the one that is based around personnel handicaps. This really mixes the results up as the worst sailors get to start earlier and the good sailors had to start latter and the start times are recalculated after ever race. I am a very average sailor so my handicap doesnt change much, never more than a couple mins up of down but for good sailors like mrs exlaser it can make a huge change . Normally there is 8mins between our starts times , today there was 1 min . As my time had come in two mins and mrs exlaser time had gone out five mins . Things will be better next as I was second today so my time will go back out a couple of mins back to my normal time and mrs exlaser finished in the middle of the fleet so her time will stay the same .

Then it was off to the in-laws for lunch which was another plus . I am now back home , still feeling full and waiting for 8 o’clock when wine can be opened 😀😀.

Once again I'm awake at an ungodly hour. Today I'm trying a different tack. Usually when I wake up I start thinking about stuff that needs doing, then I get up, arse around not doing much and drinking a coffee.

Today. No coffee but a glass of orange squash. Then I have pottered and tidied putting away all the bits and pieces, plumping cushions, folding throws left scattered on the sofa, picking up Mrs P's shoes etc. Now I can go back to bed knowing this stuff has been done.........

MrsP has you operating like a Hogworts house elf , tell her to pick up her own stuff . Plumping cushions ate more used to plump arses squashing them !

Based on something I heard about a race in the Royal Navy using 2 whalers crewed by rowers from different ships

Then I would recommend nailing (other methods of securing are available) a couple of buckets to Mrs exlaser's keel

not sure how to disguise them while the boat is still on th trailer - but once in the water they are apparently quite effective

the effect in th eRN race was apparently quite noticeable
as were the buckets when the crane lifted them out of the water before the divers managed to get to them

still- club I used to sail at had a grudge match against another local club and found that a few boats actually had holes drilled into their hulls before the race started - so all is fair(???) and al that

I'm disappointed to find this post in here, possibly you don't understand the vibe? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Please keep this sort of remark to yourself if it relates to me. Marriage is a partnership, an equal one and each person chooses to contribute as they feel appropriate. My wife kicks her shoes off where she pleases, I prefer mine put away, as I don't like it I quietly put her shoes away for her. Costs me nothing, my wife ignores the little things I do which irritate her. I don't like looking at squashed pillows, I fix it. It's simple and 45 years together prove it works. Making a success of a marriage involves work and understanding by both. Little things just get done. The understanding in our house is if you think it needs doing, then do it

Give and take, is how relationships work, give and take. Only big stuff is worthy of discussion.
