Good day. Wild and woolly and not especially warm. Just put a machine load on the line and found myself shivering. About 8.55 yesterday evening I was distractedly gazing out of the front window "What's a horse doing in my garden?" "Geez, there's two of them." Then some logic kicks in, it can't be horses, there's another and another. What I was seeing was the rump of five fully grown female roe deer. One on her own is common, a doe with her fawn not unusual and very occasionally two adults but never before five. Mrs P dashed out "Bugger off. Leave my tulips alone" I was more "Gosh aren't they beautiful"
Small person day and I've remembered I took her car seat out to get my bike in. Bike is still in the car so I need to dash off and swap things around, getting the seat in can be, shall we say, challenging.
