I'm disappointed to find this post in here, possibly you don't understand the vibe? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Please keep this sort of remark to yourself if it relates to me. Marriage is a partnership, an equal one and each person chooses to contribute as they feel appropriate. My wife kicks her shoes off where she pleases, I prefer mine put away, as I don't like it I quietly put her shoes away for her. Costs me nothing, my wife ignores the little things I do which irritate her. I don't like looking at squashed pillows, I fix it. It's simple and 45 years together prove it works. Making a success of a marriage involves work and understanding by both. Little things just get done. The understanding in our house is if you think it needs doing, then do it

Give and take, is how relationships work, give and take. Only big stuff is worthy of discussion.

I would have though Mo would have thought to turn the bloomin thermostat up a bit
and some bugger left the damn fan on at the top in Aviemore
