Hello..................again. :sun:A beautiful day in Lancashire. :sun: I'm feeling quite sanguine now. I like that word and popped in because I thought to myself "oooo, I could use sanguine in a post" Yes, my boys let the opposition equalise with the literal last kick of the match. Hey ho. In worse news I got my breakfast ready, forgot to eat it and have just finished some very soggy Weetabix, well Aldi style wheat biscuits. I've given small person more solid breakfasts.

:hello:

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I'm going to try my air fryer out on two sausages :hyper:

2 whole sausages? My goodness, you do know how to live dangerously

Well the sausages were cooked to perfection, a lovely light brown colour all over and only took 12 minutes, now according to my not so smart meter it said I was using .58p per hour so around 12p for two sausages not too bad I thought it was going to be a lot higher as this fryer is 1350w.
Easy to use – well once set at 200c I only looked at them twice, with fry pan and grill you have to keep a look out all the time so that is a big plus for the air fryer.
Now is it worth is, well I have two items to wash up instead of one frying pan or the grill pan, no big deal really, would I buy one, on my own no, with a family I think they have a place in the home for sure. The other thing is the size they are big so you have to a large kitchen/plenty of workspace area to put it.

I have the Tefal Actifry. I made a Barm Brack a couple of days ago and instead of a loaf tin I chucked it in the Air Fryer. It was a bit experimental but came out ok. The hole in the middle is caused by the way the machine is designed, there's a removeable paddle that slowly turns things over when fitted, greaat for chips.
the size is about 9 1/2" by 1 1/2" .
I left the fruit soaking for a couple of days in a blend of strong tea, the remains of a bottle of Amaretto and a generous slug of Tia Maria.
