Cooooooeeeee. 8 deg, dry and calm here.

Its the annual comedy fest in Mach this weekend. I will not be going into town or trying to drive anywhere as the loonies from wherever will all be on the roads.

Stay safe peeps :hello:

Same here. It is the Llandudno Extravaganda this week end. The place will be full of people paying inflated prices for the privilege. I will keep well away from it.

Morning all :hello:

Bit foggy out there this morning. Can hear ships in the channel sounding fog horns.
The WSR steam gala gathers apace today - lots of chuffers including some visiting locos, double headers and goods trains. The nerds are out in force.
Have to stay in this morning as we are expecting delivery of two tables and some chairs from IKEA.

MrsDs hospital saga.
•Monday. The doctor saìd she had a serious potassium shortage. He wanted to keep her in but she panicked and refused.
• Yesterday, after she had settled down, she spoke to them and was told to report to A&E.
Her sister and BiL got her there for 10.30.
IT WAS 22.30 before she got a bed.
• This doctor did bloods and pronounced "Potassium is normal".
She is now waiting but for what she isn't sure.

HOW CAN 2 DOCTORS GET IT SO WRONG??

It's easy. I don't trust any Dr anymore, or anyone else for that matter.

Builders are in again - except the young lad
apparently he was due to work - but his Mum rang his boss and said he wasn;t allowed to as he was needed to babysit some younger relatives

Some muttering about him growing up - be he is a nice lad and works hard with little supervision needed so he will do OK

also - bloke next door has decided to change is back garden around - ripping up the patio and redoing the base and installing some platsic decking and artificial grass
all of which involves a lot of banging and thmping - he started about 6 last night and finished after 9 - which made wahtching teh snooker less peaceful than we were expecting!

so - lots of working and physical stuff going on all around - just not in our living room!
