Beautiful day here too. Just back from walking Molly on Angel Bay. Mrs G is going to a boot sale with our daughter shortly and no doubt she will come back with rubbish other people don't want. I will go for a ride when she comes back. The bike and all my gear is ready: red bike, red shoes and red top . Did I mention I will be wearing red today?

:hello: Morning, woke up can't sleep
Point of order...

How have you woken up, if you can't sleep?

Bonjour. Sad news for those of you who still remember the sex symbol of the 60s, Brigitte Bardot. She is 88 now and has been rushed to hospital in a coma.

And she is so much more than just a "sex symbol" for example she is the founder of the Brigitte Bardot foundation for animal rights and is fearless in pointing out inhumane attitudes , even to the point of criticising President Macron for not supporting the animal protection programme.

Never had any jabs at all. I decided from when they were first mentioned that I wouldn’t be taking them. I personally know more people with bad side effects from the jabs than I know with serious Covid. I’ll say no more as it’s everyone’s personal decision.

I can’t personally see what the hassle is . I was in and out within five minutes.

It is very much a personal decision..

I think about the consequences if polio vaccine hadn’t been developed also Malaria vaccine.all largely eradicated.

Do people still need Malaria vaccinations when visiting holiday destinations where Malaria is still endemic?

I’ve had all the vaccinations Polio .Shingles .pneumonia.Tetanus when offered. All one off vaccinations.

If there is ever a preventative treatment for dementia developed I’ll be first in the queue.

When Mrs p was first diagnosed with Ovarian cancer she was adamant she wouldn’t have Chemotherapy or radiotherapy because of the side affects. She changed her mind after mine family and friends persuaded her of the consequences. As it happens it happens a major surgery’ solved that problem .
She is now on a maintenance dose of Letrozol for the next five years Side affects are frequent hot flushes .As she says better that than permanently in a cold grave.Six monthly check ups at L R I Oncology
Hot flushes horrendous parking situation at the LRI All a bit of a hassle but better than the possible consequences
