After mentioning this to my daughter, who went to uni in Northampton ( and totally loves the place ) . She can confirm that mullets have never been OUT of fashion there. 😂😂😀😀

One of my twin grandsons is growing one. It's hideous 😆

An early dog walk, and then I'm going swimming at the local pool.
Probably have to do some domestics this afternoon, although there is no washing to be done.

Got to dig out my compost heap this morning and spread it on one of my veggie plots. Also need to get my multi tool out and tackle some bushes. (@Drago )
I've then got to dig a hole for a ground spike for MrsD's rotary line.
I'll be knackered by lunchtime - might have to go to the pub.

Doing nothing. Pretending to be busy messaging. In the queue for the bathroom. Too lazy to go to the other one.

Today is devoted to doing nothing. To avoiding anything that might have a measurable outcome.

There will be a little pointless errand that will conceal a sneak into the polling (sp?) station.
Really spoils my attempt to really do nothing today. But suppose voting comes close.

I have been very unlucky winning anything through out my life, what I've got is what I worked for

Think you're correct about this. When Mrs P and I retired we had a six figure sum sloshing around while various things were sorted out. No, we aren't rich. We bought £100k in PBs for a short period and regularly won £150+, like every month. Today we have a few and haven't won for about a year.

Don't get rid of it, the early paper copies can be worth a bit these days.

And if you do sell/get rid of it, the number will come up for the new owner shortly after.

Do you mean as some sort of collector's item? I have one from around 1959/60 and I do mean one!

Its ok as long as i only slap it on my wood burner.

Yep, mine needs blacking and I have a replacement glass to fit. Ordered weeks ago but I was reluctant to fit it until we had done with the burner for the summer. A great investment, 30 years old and all we've replaced is one fire brick and the glass. Hard to beat really.
