Another walk done. That’s 15.5 miles for the day. Legs are now weary and my feet are a bit sore.

I’ve stuck the pj’s on now as I ain’t going back out. Feet up with a cuppa now and browse for a bit then probably read later. I will watch an old Dalziel and Pascoe on the Drama channel at 8pm.

Your distance log for the year is staggering ! You are ace Mo

I just spent twenty minutes making a new toy for the parakeet.

My wife is drying strips of bread crust in the kitchen, to be used for some interesting recipe no doubt... I’m off to buy some frenchfries to replace them with.. just to mess with the wife's head.

Then I think a rip in the country on the motorbike is in order. This retirement stuff can be so stressful.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
Bugger. My neighbour came round and said he found a spring from a car on the drive. I got my car out of the garage and dam, its mine from the front drivers side and you can see where the car is slightly lower on that side.

I can't possibly drive it 15 miles to my my suzuki garage, so my SIL is going to see his garage that is only a couple of miles away tomorrow to book it in to be done.

With eight shifts to go before I finally after 51 years, hang my work boots up. I'm 'celebrating' by going camping for a few days and then return to get into a completely new routine - ! ^_^
Lots planned in the way of indoor / outdoor jobs / projects / trips both solo and with the GLW. Plenty of hobbies and interests to keep me amused, several of which could do with a bit of fine tuning - !
What I have to sort is to get this lot into a routine / order so I can keep a reasonable system going.

Good evening.
After forecasting rain and thunder storms all day, it has finally started to rain.
Bugger all on the telly box tonight, unless you like Europop stuff. Fortunately we have a few things recorded to fill the gap. I feel an early night coming on.
