Leisurely mooch from Chester out to and along the Welsh Coastal Path.

Good morning. A beautiful day here, so at 9.00 we head off to Arran where the forecast is less beautiful. How does that work. Ah well. We have a week on Arran followed by three days still to be decided before heading to Edinburgh for three days and then home.

We had the most wonderful walk near Buttermere on Rannandale Knotts to view the Rannandale Bluebells. Very famous but we had never heard of them. We had chatted to walkers halfway up Haystacks who suggested the route. It proved to be great advice, excellent walk, stunning views and a completely different view of the Bluebells from that most folk see.

The bluebell area near a car park has been devastated by the lookers trampling everywhere. What we saw takes effort to access. In the pics anything which is blue, purple, grey are in fact huge swathes of Bluebells. Quite stunning and very unusual as the bluebell is a woodland plant

Morning all :hello:

Another lovely day ahead. :sun:
Might have a short ride down to the harbour and drop in at the Co-Op on the way back this morning.
Best mates are popping over this afternoon and I'll be firing the BBQ up. Think we'll set the table and chairs up in the orchard as that catches the afternoon sun.
