Morning all :hello:

Getting all edgy now. Isle of Man TT practice starts today!
Even though it's 24 years since I last raced on the Mountain course, I still get very excited/interested/nervous about the event.
Don't supposed I'll ever get over it.

I doubt you will and nor should you. Great memories for you.
I will never forget the wonderful scuba diving experiences I was privileged to have.

BTW......they don't televise the TT do they? I am sure they used to.

Morning. Just back a little 19 mile bimble while the roads are quiet. Not sure what the rest of the day holds. I'm never so fond of walking at the weekends due to it being much busier.

Even although it was quite cool out, I'm sweating as usual so off for a drink and freshen up.

I think ITV do highlight shows and you can live stream all of the action on TT Live for £19.99.

Best 20 quid I spent last year. :okay:

Sort of have that issue as well. We have Amazon Prime and Netflix, but rarely find anything worth the watch apart from maybe something I've already seen. The number of 'continue watching' I have is mounting up because I'll look at something 'promising' and if it hasn't caught my attention within half an hour, stop button time - !

Steel Town Murders and Maryland worth a look

I see Netflix we ‘cracking down’ on password sharing….https://www.theguardian.com/media/2023/may/23/netflix-crackdown-on-password-sharing-reaches-the-uk
Might lose our household if they do….’the kids’ have broadly sprung the nest, but we continue to share our account (& Amazon/Disney).
If they get serious about this clamp down, we will collectively wave them bye bye 🤷‍♂️

Same with us

Late night last night. Was an open air gig and went on till late. Its surprisingly knackering. Very good gig, went well. Shame we can't upload videos onto here.

There's no ifs or buts about getting serious they are doing it - already up and rolling in several other countries.

From their point of view it is a logical response to falling revenues.

I think other members (how many?) can be added for a small monthly sum.

Good day. Blue and white skies here. Today we leave Arran and I'm sorry to do so. It's a wonderful island, Lamlash is a friendly village, I think we will be back.

Time to pack and tidy round as we have to be out by 10.00. We're booked on the 13.55 ferry but there's one at 11.05 I'm hoping to get on. Mrs P says if it's full "we" can go shopping! Have you seen the size of Brodick?

Interesting views on Netflix as I find lots which I enjoy. We only pay £7.99 so surprised by WD's £16. I agree about Amazon Prime though, we have it for delivery, but every time I want to watch something I find it's a chargeable programme rather than free or included.

Yes. Amazon Prime going downhill on the viewing front and the sub-subscription and free with adverts channels are annoying.

Like you, we primarily have it for the 'free' delivery service which works very much to our benefit.

I can see where Netflix are coming from tbh and don't blame them for the crackdown. Their pricing is still very reasonable imo.

No, pooptube is well beyond the limits of my steam driven coal powered brain.

If anyone wants to see some vids and uses WhatsApp (I grudgingly have to use is as that's how the band communicates) they can PM me their number and I'll send them some vids. Discretion assured, number would not be disclosed and I wouldn't stalk anyone (I'm too old for that sheet anyway!)

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.

I read somewhere that it would be about £3. So it's not a huge amount. Less than the cost of cup of coffee in a lot of place.
