At last made it to Bideford after a 7.5 hour drive from Tean !! Every body seem to be on the road today.
Anyway, the bike is re assembled and waiting in the corridor for the next ride, avoiding the potholes in Devon.
Rather tired now as I didn't sleep very well last night and we were up early.

Have a Q day today. 3 hours of playing last night has left me knackered and with sore hands, so I earned my day of rest. Back at it tomorrow morning.

I need some advise on a legal and moral matter

We have had the 3 grand kids - ages 2 6 and 10 - for the weekend

Their parents dropped them off this morning with a selection of toys

INCLUDING 4 WATER PISTOLS!!!!!!

so - I need some advise on suitable punishment for the parents for this heinous act

Grandparent's must always have and keep the upper hand. You can never let the small monsters see you are afraid.

Point out to the parents that the water pistols are covered by the Violent Crimes Reduction Act 2006*. As such you've had to confiscate them and are awaiting the next weapons amnesty to allow you to dump them in the bin at the nearest police station.

*Yes it's genuine, we were required to have the warning in place on water pistols, cap guns(caps are covered separately, by the Firearms And Explosives Act), spud guns and Nerf pistols/rifle's.

Morning all

Getting all edgy now. Isle of Man TT practice starts today!
Even though it's 24 years since I last raced on the Mountain course, I still get very excited/interested/nervous about the event.
Don't supposed I'll ever get over it.

Looking forward to it very much also , hope the Ago's Leap sidecar problems have been sorted , believe there has been new tarmac on a few sections . I bought the TT+ package , its great value . All practise sessions live and races . 8 races plus sidecars . Wish I was back there

Morning all

Another day in paradise.......well Zummerzet is pretty close.
Off out for a walk somewhere with woods and water this morning, then Sunday lunch at the Valiant Soldier.

Good morning from Pitlochry. A beautiful sunny day is upon us. What a busy place Pitlochry is, rammed with Americans, sorry @12boy but to my surprise it is. How are you 12boy? We're ten minutes walk from town in a very peaceful location.

This weekend is the Atholl Highland Gathering and Games which explains the gathering throngs. We've decided to visit and watch big burly men tossing their cabers. One event listed in the competitions is the "Farmers Walk." I will report back as I can't even imagine competitive farm walking!!! 🤣

Next task is my Highland breakfast, the scents drifting from the kitchen have me salivating already.
