I've spent most of the afternoon in the garden, when our friend was here this morning I left the two ladies to have a gossip and paid a visit to a favourite garden centre, came back with an alpine to replace the one that didn't survive the winter and a tray of trailing lobelia to replace the Pansies i had in pots that were looking past their best, so I've had an enjoyable afternoon with my hands in the soil, the pansies have been ditched, the alpine and the Lobelia have been planted, I've weeded dead headed and the hardy early flowering Geranium out the front has been chelsea chopped, the early flowering ones out the back are still in flower so will get done later.

I managed to do 42 kms on the Tarka trail and lunch with the girls at 1 pm followed by an ice cream in Bideford on the way back. I also noticed that the back wheel is slightly buckled and I will have to have it trued up when I get back home.

I have an email from Royal Mail saying my parcel from Tredz will be delivered tomorrow and I can’t remember what the heck I ordered. It will be a surprise

Be careful I had a message last week allegedly from Royal Mail saying they had been unable to deliver a parcel as no one was in, press one to arrange payment for delivery Are regular postman knows were to leave a parcel if I’m not in or a card saying it will be available at the sorting office
